2026: The Year of Resilience and Care
April 7th: Smiles at Janet Market
A simple gesture with great meaning. In celebration of April 7th, Fundação Cantoná brought smiles in the form of roses and capulanas to Janet Market, honoring the women who are the strength and soul of our markets.
The Shield of Life: Community Vaccination
The future of Mozambique lives in the health of our children. We went into communities to ensure child vaccination, creating a shield of protection so our little ones can grow strong, healthy, and ready to conquer the world.
Wings to Fly: 5 Scholarships
We believe education is the greatest tool for social transformation. This year, we sponsored the future of five children with scholarships.
A New Home: Malembuane Shelter Center
We donated building materials for 10 solid houses, allowing the local government to relocate these families to safe areas.
Rebuilding Life and Livelihood: Barra and Tofo Market
In Tofo, we helped 200 vendor stalls with food and building materials. In Barra, we donated materials and paid the technical team to build 40 new houses.
The Embrace that Defeated Cyclone Gezani
At the Mesquita Resettlement Center, we supported over 2,000 people. We delivered 200 zinc sheets and 35 tons of essential goods.
The Fight Against Floods: The Strength of Our Solidarity
Strength in Xai-Xai (Tavene)
We reached Tavene with 30 tons of food and diverse products. Each delivered package was a silent message: "You are not alone."
Nourishing Hope in Chókwè
We distributed 50 tons of essential goods and donated 3 heads of cattle.
Relief in Macia
We unloaded 35 tons of food and delivered 3,000 essential survival kits.
Extended Hands to Manhiça
We brought 30 tons of food products and diverse items to families threatened by floods.
The Rebirth of Boane
With 15 tons of food, clothing, and diverse products, we helped the families of Boane start over.
The Seed of Reconstruction in Moamba
In the Moamba district, we left 10 tons of food and varied goods for the community to restart.
2025: Sport as a Force for Transformation
The Crowning of Youth: December Tournament
We closed the year with an epic month-long tournament, with a 100,000 meticais prize and the honorable presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports.
The Stage of Stars: Canton 7 League
We sponsored the Canton 7 League with a 100,000 meticais prize, celebrating the talent of our young athletes.

Walking Side by Side: Hixikanwe Association
